Thomas J. Melton, CRC, AWMA, CMFC – President

Thomas J. Melton has been a consultant, educator and trainer in the Financial Services Industry for over 30 years.

Presently, Tom is a Registered Principal and Branch Manager with LPL Financial and has passed the FINRA General Securities Representative exam, the FINRA Investment Company and Variable Contracts Products Principal exam, the NASAA Uniform Securities Agent State Law exam, and the Uniform Investment Advisory Law examination and currently holds a California Insurance License #0819700. Tom also holds several industry recognized designations including Certified Retirement Counselor, CRC, Accredited Wealth Management Advisor, AWMA, Certified Mutual Fund Consultant, and CMFC.

In addition, Tom is the Co-founder, President and CEO of the Melton Financial Group Wealth Advisory. Tom’s focus is primarily Retirement Planning, Estate Planning and Investments. He is a member of the Financial Planning Association, FPA, and the Financial Services Institute, FSI. Along with his business partner and wife, Dianne Melton, they have developed what they believe to be one of the industry’s most entertaining and informative Financial Dinner Workshop Presentations titled “Everything You Wanted to Know…But Didn’t Know To Ask.”® Tom believes that through education and guidance he is able to help his clients pursue their retirement needs, wants and wishes.

Prior to his current business success, Tom was recognized as a noted drummer and music professional performing with many recognizable entertainment elite including The Fifth Dimension, Vikki Carr, Tony Orlando and Dawn, and the Lido d’ Paris show with illusionists Siegfried and Roy.


Dianne Melton, CRC – Vice President

Dianne Melton has been working in the Financial Services Industry since 1991. Her financial services career began in the insurance industry prior to attaining the position of Premier Banking Manager with the Wells Fargo Bank Corporation in 1992, and then accepted a top position with U.S. Bank as Business Development Officer.

Presently, Dianne is a Registered Representative with LPL Financial has earned the designation of Certified Retirement Counselor, CRC, has passed the Investment Company exam and the NASAA Uniform Securities Agent  State  Law  examination  and  currently  holds  a  California  Insurance  License #0B80867. She is a member of the Financial Planning Association, FPA, and Financial Services Institute, FSI. Dianne is the Co-founder and Vice President of the Melton Financial Group Wealth Advisory. Since the inception of Melton Financial Group, Dianne’s focus has been on combining the emotional perspective of financial and estate planning with the science of investing. Dianne’s role at the Melton Financial Group includes Business, Retirement and Estate Planning as well as Marketing and Community Involvement. She is passionate about educating and guiding her clients through their retirement.

Dianne’s early career success began in the entertainment industry as a professional singer and dancer with such esteemed accomplishments as being featured as ‘Charli’ on the ‘Tonight Show’ with Johnny Carson, and a featured performer on the Jerry Lewis Telethon, Dianne now shares her artistic singing abilities by donating her time and talent to helping others in the field of the Arts.

Dianne is an active member in the community and participates with organizations such as the American Red Cross, Placer County Food Bank, and the Placer SPCA.


Chris Green – Registered Representative

We have been very fortunate to have been able to find quality people to act on our behalf as a personal Registered Representative to our valued clientele. Christopher Green is one of those exceptional people.

As a Registered Representative with LPL Financial, Christopher currently holds a California Insurance License #0D40799 and interfaces directly with Tom and our clients. He is responsible for Insurance and Investment Services, Product Diversification, and Asset Allocation. Christopher’s eye for detail, product knowledge, and quality control including follow up and follow through are just a few of his many attributes.

Prior to joining our firm, Christopher was a respected executive level manager for sixteen years before deciding to embark on a rewarding career of helping people to pursue their retirement goals in the financial service industry.

Recognition among ones peers, in our book, is probably the most valuable indicator of a person’s competence in business. Christopher continually receives accolades and respect from our industry peers which has also been echoed by many of our clients. Christopher has proven to be a valuable asset to the Melton Financial Group Wealth Advisory.


Jessica Melton – Director of Client Services

Jessica Melton has been with the Melton Financial Group since 2002.  As our Director of Client Services, Jessica is responsible for preparation of clients reviews and new account, transfer and withdrawal paperwork.  In this position, she works closely with the executives and interfaces directly with our valued clients to ensure that they receive the highest level of superior customer service and support. Her detailed, administrative, and organizational skills are among her many attributes that we find imperative to the quality of service we at the Melton Financial Group strive to provide.

Prior to the Melton Financial Group, Jessica worked as a manager, buyer and retail sales rep. at Clark’s Ski Co, before making the transition into the financial services industry. Throughout her career she has been exposed to many areas of financial services including working for a private Broker Dealer, Lexington Capital Management and in Real Estate  with her CA Real Estate Principal’s License for Coldwell Banker.

In her spare time she enjoys the outdoors including hiking and running. Jessica also has a passion and flare for interior design, decorating and remodeling.


Angela Berwick – Director of Operations

Angela Berwick comes to Melton Financial Group Wealth Advisory with over 25 years experience in Operations. As our Director of Operations, Angela is responsible for the ongoing daily operations including events, seminars and workshops, client education and appreciation, and our advisory council. In addition, she is our in house compliance officer working diligently to uphold our office and industry standards. Your experience at the Melton Financial Group is our priority and with a Commitment to Excellence, Angela assists the Executive Team to ensure that all of our Valued Clients receive quality and timely Customer Service. Her experience and dedication coupled with her ability to multi-task, attention to detail and her finite organizational skills are just a few of the many qualities that Angela brings to our firm.

Angela is an active Notary and has been since 2000 when she also became a member of the National Notary Association.

Previously, she enjoyed a 20 year career as the Operations and Finance Manager in the Boat and Yacht Industry.

In addition, she has worked as an Esthetician and Make-up Artist for almost 30 years. Since 1987, she has donated her time to the Miss Teen California, Mrs. California, and local pageants and several community events as a Make-up Artist and Coach.
